Cara Lorraine is an up and coming musician based in New York City. Her music combines alternative and indie styles to create a whole new groove.
Cara's musical journey started young. Having a mother who is both a music teacher and an opera singer jumpstarted her love for this art form. She began singing and playing piano when she was only five years old. She says, "It called to me. As Mozart said, 'Music is my life, and my life is music.'"

What inspires Cara Lorraine's music?
Cara Lorraine's music has always been inspired by personal challenges she has faced. As an autistic musician, she uses her songs to bring her stories to life. From struggles with mental health to unrequited love, her goal is to take those feelings and turn them into music. She wants these messages and stories to reach those who need it most. Whether it is someone who needs to know they are not alone, or a young girl going through her first heartbreak, Cara Lorraine wants her music to mean something to those who hear it.
Cara's musical style has been influenced by musicians and composers such as Freddie Mercury, Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, and Billy Joel. Taking lyrical writing styles and compositional ideas from these musicians has given Cara Lorraine her unique sound.
